Kids to Save Energy are Parents Concern
As they say, everything should start at home. Saving energy is a
great way to start in teaching your children to be more aware of their
environment and their issues. Here are some energy saving activities one
where your kids can participate actively and has easily measurable
results:
- Teach your kids to be more conscious of their surrounding.
Assign them to turn off appliances that are not being used and
report leaks or other malfunctions in your furnace or other
appliances.

- With all the gadgets and gizmos kids have these days from music
players to gaming consoles, encourage them to try and use these
object, one at a time and never all at ones.

- When brushing their teeth, tell them to always turn off the tap
when not in use.
- Give a curfew on using certain appliances such as no more TV
after 8pm.
- Make it a habit to open your blinds or curtains on sunny days to
let the sun shine and the breeze into your home instead of opening
your lights and air conditioning unit.
With these simple, easy to follow tips, you can turn your kids into a
more responsible and eco-friendly individual.
